Fortunately there was nothing inside, but this only became apparent when the courier allowed us to open it (otherwise I would have returned it immediately) The leatherette cover on my copy was separated in one part at the back, but that can be repaired at home. The sound quality is average, there is frequency resonance at low frequencies, probably caused by the not very deep box. The potentiometers are "wobbly" sideways, the "Activator" does not control anything. The two microphones supplied are of poor quality, unnecessarily raising the price. The battery has performed well so far, and on the plus side it doesn't make a popping sound when switched on and off, and there is hardly any background noise.
