WA-CX24 allows independent adjustment of polar patterns (cardioid, omni, figure-8 + 6 intermediate steps) for each capsule via switches on the external power supply. Capsules can be rotated up to 180°, offering precise stereo image control and maximum flexibility.

The microphone uses two hand-crafted, all-brass CK12 capsules, dual TAB-Funkenwerk T14 output transformers, and a carefully selected 12AY7 vacuum tube for a warm, rich, and detailed tube sound. Components such as polystyrene and Wima capacitors ensure long-term accuracy and reliability.
