Jackson Pro RRT-5 Rhoads Gloss Black Electric guitar
The Jackson Pro Series Rhoads models continue the metal legacy pioneered by the immortal Randy Rhoads. Metal has evolved dramatically over the decades, and today's metal calls for a hotter, more aggressive tone than ever before. Offered in a classic Gloss Black finish with gold pickguard and hardware, the RRT-5 is a formidable V-shaped axe loaded with style and supercharged features including a mahogany body, graphite-reinforced through-body maple neck with scarf joint and ultra-smooth oiled back finish. Its bound 12"-16" ebony fingerboard hosts 22 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays. Chosen specifically for their incredible sound, a pair of modern Seymour Duncan Distortion humbucking pickups drives this guitar's voice, combining for highly balanced, flexible tone, with plenty of high output for pristine cleans and snarling distortion. The RRT-5 also features three-way toggle pickup switching and a Jackson compensated and adjustable TOM-style bridge with anchored tailpiece.
Finish: Polished
The glossy finish gives any surface an elegant and luxurious look. This type of finish is achieved by applying several layers of lacquer or resin, which are then polished to a high gloss. This provides a smooth, reflective finish, enhancing color and structure of substrate. The glossy finish not only improves aesthetics, but also protects against dust, moisture and minor scratches.
Body: Mahogany
Mahogany is a dense wood that produces a warm, full tone with rich bass and a strong mid-range. It is known for its excellent sustain and resonance, giving it a deep and round sound.
Neck: Maple
Maple is known for its strength and stability, making it ideal for necks that need to resist bending and warping.
Fretboard: Ebony
Ebony is a very hard and dense wood with a smooth surface and a rich, dark color. It offers a clear, articulate tone with excellent response. The ebony fingerboard is popular for its durability, speed and luxurious appearance, while offering excellent playability and precise tone.
Pickups Configuration: HH
The humbucker-humbucker configuration means that the guitar is equipped with two humbucker pickups. It offers a powerful, full sound with high output and low noise, ideal for rock and metal.
