Open back guitar speaker cabinet. Fitted with a pair of Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, the PPC212OB’s design accentuates the top end frequencies whilst softening the bass response. The split rear panel means the delivery is less directional, creating an airy, spacious and three-dimensional sound. The added presence and chime makes the PPC212OB especially suited for cleaner styles, or for players who want a more vintage combo-type tone from their amp head. The PPC212OB features an 18mm birch plywood shell with our signature skid runners secured to the base to help acoustically couple the cabinet to the stage.

Orange PPC212OB Guitar Cabinet

Rundum zufrieden mit dem 2x12 Openback, der einen schönen offenen, räumlichen Klang liefert, aber auch nach EQ mehr Bässe mit seinen Celestion Vintage 30 liefern kann. Die Lautsprecher sind bei meiner Version übrigens die letzten aus MIC-Produktion, hier die gute Version, die Celestion bereits verbessert hat und kein Vergleich zu den vorher produzierten sind. Die Lautsprecher klingen wirklich gut, auch ohne eingespielt zu sein. Die Verarbeitung der Box ist auch hervorragend, es gibt handwerklich nichts offensichtlich zu bemängeln. Die Haltegriffe sind aus Metall und sehr gut zum Transport geeignet (man kann sie auch gerade noch mit einem Arm tragen). Rückseitig sind zwei Anschlüsse vorhanden, ein Eingang und einer als Daisy-Chain. Bei Orange muss man wissen, dass keine Gummifüße angebracht sind, es sind zwei eingefärbte Kiefernleisten "für die Klangübertragung" auf den Boden.

Completely satisfied with the 2x12 Openback, which delivers a nice open, spacious sound, but can also deliver more bass with its Celestion Vintage 30 after EQ. Incidentally, the speakers in my version are the last from MIC production, here is the good version, which Celestion has already improved and are no comparison to the previously produced ones. The speakers sound really good, even without being played in. The workmanship of the speaker is also excellent, there is nothing obvious to criticize. The handles are made of metal and are very suitable for transport (you can just about carry them with one arm). There are two connections at the back, one input and one as a daisy chain. With orange, you should know that there are no rubber feet, there are two coloured pine strips "for sound transmission" to the floor.
