Höfner HI-CA-SE-SB Sunburst 4-string Bassguitar
The Ignition Special Edition (SE) basses are based on the Höfner violin basses from the 1970s. In contrast to the Contemporary series, the Ignition basses have a hollow body. In addition to the classic control panel with Tea Cup knobs, they are equipped with a wooden bridge and trapeze tailpiece and carry the traditional Höfner logo on the body. The Cavern version (HI-CA-SE-SB) of Ignition Bass offers the famous Pick Up Spacing from 1961 in addition to the features already mentioned. All Ignitions (SE) come with a certificate of authenticity and the famous BASSMANN sticker. Hollow body construction for the modern, deep-resonating Violin Bass sound. Fitted with Höfner PUs.
Pickups Configuration: HH
The humbucker-humbucker configuration means that the guitar is equipped with two humbucker pickups. It offers a powerful, full sound with high output and low noise, ideal for rock and metal.
Finish: Polished
The glossy finish gives any surface an elegant and luxurious look. This type of finish is achieved by applying several layers of lacquer or resin, which are then polished to a high gloss. This provides a smooth, reflective finish, enhancing color and structure of substrate. The glossy finish not only improves aesthetics, but also protects against dust, moisture and minor scratches.
Neck: Maple
Maple is known for its strength and stability, making it ideal for necks that need to resist bending and warping.
Fretboard: Jatoba
Jatoba is a hardwood with a warm, reddish tone that produces a bright, articulate sound with good response. The Jatoba fingerboard is valued for its durability and strength, while providing a smooth and stable feel. It is an affordable alternative to more expensive woods that still provides a quality sound and attractive appearance.
Top: Spruce
Spruce top offers bright, punchy tone with excellent projection and dynamics. The sound is well balanced, with clear highs and solid bass, giving the instrument distinctive resonance and sensitivity.
