Fender Adam Clayton Jazz Bass MN Purple Sparkle

Signature electric bass guitar with Jazz Bass body shape from limited edition of Artist series that was designed in collaboration with Adam Clayton from U2 and has striking Purple Sparkle polyurethane finish which contrasts perfectly with the maple neck and fingerboard. With its lightweight alder body and bolt-on neck with Adam Clayton “C” Custom profile it delivers well-rounded JB sounds with balanced voicing and tone sculpting. The 9.5'' radius of the fingerboard provides a vintage feel, in combination with 20 vintage medium frets and abalone block inlays. Scale length is 864 mm, width of the synthetic bone nut is 35.8 mm. The bass guitar is equipped with two Custom Shop ‘60s Single-Coil Jazz Bass (Bridge/Middle) pickups that give it the ability to provide bright and mid-scooped bridge tones alongside warm and well-rounded neck tones. Like all Jazz Bass models, each pickup features an individual volume control plus there is a master tone control for the overall sound. The instrument further features a 4-ply white pearloid pickguard, vintage-inspired chrome hardware including Fender/Hipshot “Lollipop” tuners and HiMass bridge with chrome plated zinc saddles for superior sustain and string vibration transference, and Fender USA Bass 7520M, NPS (.045-.105 gauges). Black hard-shell case is included.
