Edifier R1700BT 2.0 Hi-Fi Wireless speaker Black 2 pcs

I don't understand the customers who left good reviews for this model. They probably listened to music exclusively through their phone speakers before purchasing this model, which is why they left such rave reviews. I will say that the 2 x 5W speakers in my €200 Dell monitor sound much cleaner, but not as loud as the Edifier. Volume is probably the only advantage of these speakers. There's a significant roll-off in the lows, muddy highs and mids, and the infrared remote is so 2026. When I turned them on via Bluetooth, my first instinct was to send them back to where they came from, but then I connected them via an AUX cable, running two speakers on the monitor in parallel in music mode, and that made the sound tolerable. If you connect via Bluetooth, the monitor speakers automatically turn off. I definitely wouldn't buy these speakers again, and I don't recommend you buy them either; they're not worth half the price!
