The ground wire on the bridge pickup is short, but there's a reason for that. Since the pickup does not have a metal baseplate, the strings and bridge are not grounded through it. Therefore, it is assumed that you have to ground the bridge and the strings with a separate wire anyway, and thus this shorter grounding wire can be connected to this grounding. :) The neck pickup has a very lossy character, very clean and dynamic sounding.
