First of all, the instrument looks very nice indeed. It had leaks on several flaps, which were not difficult to fix at all. The more serious failure was the inability to operate the side high E key. It would be very hard to press down, and after that it would be stuck and unable to return to the starting position. For the repair, it was necessary to disassemble and remove the side shaft of the E key. The most serious problem was the extremely mismatched operation of the two octave holes. The octave key on the tube would often get stuck; or it wouldn't open, or it would stay open when it shouldn't. In short, this saxophone was unplayable at all. In the end, all the problems were solved and the preparatory playing of the instrument began. The sound is quite average so far, but this preparation phase must last at least a month. Testing is done with a very good Yamaha 7CM mouthpiece (with which the opening was increased from 1.40mm to 1.50mm). The original mouthpiece is a bad plastic copy of the Yamaha 4C, so it should not be used. IN SHORT: if an instrument like this were delivered without the listed defects, it would probably get a rating of 4 (all this considering its low price). If you don't have a skilled repairman nearby, then it's not for you.
