HILS Guitars HN3 NEXT Baritone Deep Purple Metallic Headless guitar

The HILS HN3 BAR S/MDP is a headless baritone electric guitar offering extended low-end range and modern playability. It features a solid Indonesian mahogany body with a satin finish in Metallic Deep Purple, and a bolt-on hard maple neck with an Indian rosewood fingerboard that has a 12"–16" compound radius. The 27.5" baritone scale gives deeper tones ideal for heavy, ambient, or experimental styles, while 24 jumbo stainless steel frets ensure smooth playability.

Electronics include dual custom ceramic humbuckers with uncovered coils, controlled by a 3-way pickup selector, one volume and one push-pull tone control. Hardware highlights include a custom 6-saddle hardtail bridge, titanium locking headpiece, oiled bone nut, and jumbo stainless frets. Strings come as D’Addario EXL158 (.013"–.062"), and the guitar includes a deluxe gigbag and adjustment tools. This design delivers balanced resonance, robust low tones, and contemporary ergonomics from a unique, headless baritone instrument.

Finish: Satin

The satin finish is popular for its ability to combine the properties of both a glossy and matte finish. This type of finish provides a soft sheen, less intense than gloss but more pronounced than matte. This creates a smooth to touch, lightly reflective surface which gives an elegant and sophisticated appearance. The satin finish is ideal for those looking for a balance between visual appeal and convenience, as it can hide small imperfections and fingerprints better than glossy surfaces.

Body: Mahogany

Mahogany is a dense wood that produces a warm, full tone with rich bass and a strong mid-range. It is known for its excellent sustain and resonance, giving it a deep and round sound.

Neck: Roasted Maple

Roasted maple is a wood that has undergone a heat treatment process to increase its hardness, stability and resistance to changes in humidity and temperature. This material provides a clear, well-balanced tone with a fast response time and excellent sustain. Roasted maple also has a darker, caramel tone that gives the guitar an attractive appearance.

Fretboard: Indian Rosewood

Indian rosewood is a popular wood for fingerboards, known for its hardness and rich, dark tone. It offers a warm, balanced tone with excellent response and sustain. The Indian rosewood fingerboard is valued for its smoothness and feel, while offering durability and longevity. It is popular for its rich sound and aesthetic appearance.

Pickups Configuration: HH

The humbucker-humbucker configuration means that the guitar is equipped with two humbucker pickups. It offers a powerful, full sound with high output and low noise, ideal for rock and metal.
