Acompact desk for musicians and all professions spending a large part of their work life on a computer. Below the whole width of the tabletop is an extractable level, which offers room for keyboard and mouse, Pads and pens but also drum machines, synthesisers or (MIDI-) controllers as well as DJ-mixers. Depending on the application, the height of that level can be set up from a minimal 5 cm to a comfortable 16 cm of useable space below the top work surface. This makes the desk attractive for both a computer programmer or graphic artist as well as a creative music producer or DJ. Usually a work desk will have one or two screens, 24" being today's standard. These will have bases of different shapes and heights, take up valuable space and, at least in the case of someone working with sound, represent formidable obstacles to a proper listening experience! Here, Miza Jr. shines with a second level below the back of the work level (like the one in front, it is height adjustable in steps of 16 mm down to 16 cm below the top late) and removable panels, that allow to place the foot of the screen(s) below the surface. Those cover panels come in three segments so you can place one or two screens with the lower viewable edge at the edge of the table top. The advantages are both acoustic and aesthetic nature, allowing the user to ban cables, power supplies and USB-hubs below the surface - leaving a clear, optimised work space. Miza Jr is made from 18mm melamine faced chip board with award wood edge (oak) featuring a dual cross section at the bottom for optimum stability. The layout is definitely urban, since the small size of the desk will fit even the smallest room: L x W x H = 125 cm x 70 cm x 77,6 cm. It is resolutely modern, for big mixers, massive outboard gear inlarge facilities are being gradually replaced by computer based outfits, especially since EDM has come to dominate the charts and DJs are the heroes of the day! Zaor pays tribute to this trend and has shed any superfluous attribute while adopting a unique flexibility that turns the Miza Jr. into a smart companion of the creative media worker!
