The SS-7CM is a Custom Series mouthpiece for Bb soprano saxophone players who want more character than the standard plastic mouthpiece that ships with most horns. Made from ebonite (hard rubber), it produces a glossy, colorful tone with greater depth than plastic equivalents. A 1.40 mm tip opening and 19 mm facing place it in the same family as the popular 7C tip opening, praised for rich, bold volume and accurate attacks — well suited to jazz and contemporary playing.
