To properly utilize the full pedal range of the Yamaha FC7 expression pedal on different keyboards or devices, adjust the device's expression pedal settings or calibration menu to match the pedal's range. Some devices also allow setting the type or polarity of the pedal input. On the FC7 itself, there is a screw to set the pedal angle, but this mostly affects the pedal's resting position rather than its range. Proper calibration on the device you're connecting to is key for full-range use.
