Washburn Heritage G12S Natural Jumbo Guitar
The G12S is a Grand Auditorium acoustic guitar that features a solid mahogany soundboard with Cathedral Peak Scalloped-X bracing for superior tone that improves with age. Mahogany imparts a warmer, “meatier,” tone than Spruce or Cedar. It also features a mahogany back, sides and neck, Ovangkol fingerboard and bridge, die-cast tuners for quick, easy and accurate tuning, a Washburn tortoise pick guard and Washburn’s Heritage rosette. The versatility of the Grand Auditorium G12S makes it ideal for both strumming and finger style players. Singer/songwriters will especially find it a useful partner as it’s perfect for performing or recording.
Neck: Mahogany
The guitar features a mahogany neck for excellent strength and stability. Mahogany is known for its great resonance, contributing to a warm, rich tone with a distinctive mid-range.
Finish: Polished
The glossy finish gives any surface an elegant and luxurious look. This type of finish is achieved by applying several layers of lacquer or resin, which are then polished to a high gloss. This provides a smooth, reflective finish, enhancing color and structure of substrate. The glossy finish not only improves aesthetics, but also protects against dust, moisture and minor scratches.
