Toni Watson, known as Tones and I, is an Australian singer, songwriter, and producer who rose to international fame with her hit single Dance Monkey. The song topped charts in more than 30 countries and set a record by staying at number one for 24 weeks in Australia, making history in the Australian music scene. Dance Monkey has since been certified 19 times platinum by ARIA and in 2024 made Tones and I the first female artist to achieve over 3 billion streams for a single song on Spotify. Her debut EP, The Kids Are Coming, and her album Welcome to the Madhouse both achieved commercial success, with the album debuting at number one in Australia. Tones and I is also recognized for her multiple wins at the ARIA Music Awards, cementing her as one of Australia's most successful modern artists.
