Yussef Dayes, born 12 December 1992, is an English jazz drummer, composer, and record producer. He is recognized for his dynamic drumming style and innovative approach to jazz. Dayes gained prominence as part of the duo Yussef Kamaal with keyboardist Kamaal Williams, releasing the acclaimed album Black Focus in 2016. He later collaborated with Tom Misch on the album What Kinda Music in 2020. In 2023, Dayes released his debut solo album Black Classical Music, showcasing his vision as a bandleader and solo artist.
