Electric bass guitar with classic JB body shape with two dual cutaway for easier access to the highest frets that features body made of a beautiful solid swamp ash sealed with a poly-urethane finish to let the natural wood show through. Bound bolt-on neck is made of select Canadian maple and is fitted with maple fingerboard with 20 Jumbo frets and contrasting block inlays in Cream colour. Scale length is 964 mm and nut width is 38 mm. Instrument is equipped with two single coil pickups that can be controlled and adjusted via Volume 1 and 2, and Master Tone control knobs. Bass guitar further features a bold chrome vintage-style bridge and machine heads, and a 2-ply black pickguard. Natural colour design.

This bass is a beauty, plays great and I couldn't be happier with it. Musiker is a fine store but I wish they stop sending orders by FedEx. They lost my first order for this bass and took them 3 months to recognise their mistake...

The bass is of poor quality and does not correspond to the picture on the website. Neck plate is square, pickguard is not pearl but white (although Muziker confirmed to me by email that the pickguard is pearl 3 days before ordering). The one I got has very sharp frets, the neck is crookedly connected to the body. The string height is very high and cannot be adjusted lower because the saddles are already in contact with the bridge.

The swamp ash see through blue body is really beautiful and the neck is great too. But there is no shielding at all and the electronics are bad and very cheap. So there is a lot of hum and noise. Also I expected the pickguard to be in white pearl, but it was just white with a sticker saying "American swamp ash". I will replace the controlplate with the Richter JB-VVT passive electronics controlplate that is already shielded. I might also replace the pick-ups. Conclusion: if this bass would have had better electronics and hardware, e.g. made by Wilkinson, and would have been properly shielded, then this bass would have been great. Now this is a very mediocre bass with a lot of issues.
