Shinedown is a rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, formed in 2001 by singer Brent Smith. After starting with Jasin Todd on guitar, Brad Stewart on bass, and Barry Kerch on drums, the lineup eventually solidified with Smith, Kerch, Zach Myers on guitar, and Eric Bass on bass. Shinedown has released seven studio albums and holds the record for the most number one singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. Recognized as one of the top acts in modern rock, Shinedown has sold over 10 million records worldwide.
