Recording King RD-328 Natural Gloss Dreadnought Guitar

Part of our Tonewood Reserve Series, the Recording King RD-328 evokes classic dreadnought style, sound & volume thanks to hand-selected tonewoods and vintage styling. The foundation of the 328’s tone comes from solid aged Adirondack spruce tops. Adirondack’s excellent projection, coupled with three decades of curing delivers a stiff, loud, lightweight top with powerful fundamental tone.  Combine the aged tops with solid Rosewood back and sides, and you have the all-solid basics for guitars that have powered genres like bluegrass and country for decades. We finish the 328 with classy, low-key fretboard dots on the rosewood fretboard, and a vintage-style tortoise pickguard to protect the top. The 328’s classic rosette design and herringbone body purfling complete the traditional look. For players that need the power and volume that only a dreadnought can provide, but still want the warmth and vibrancy that comes with aged tonewoods, the RD-328 offers the best of both worlds at a fraction of the price of a vintage instrument.

I've also done a video review here: https://youtu.be/4t5I_E_mAdI?si=pPpkky43h-b2-X3b I just think this guitar is one of the best values out there. Great right out of the box, big low end and shimerring highs Very similar to a D28 from Martin The setup was great already, and it looks like they've made the finish a bit thinner so the guitar can vibrate more freely. It's very well built, the only things I'm not a fan of are: Headstock logo (just painted there ) and the pickguard that I'm replacing it with a thin wooden one. Otherwise the guitar is a Cannon, fully recommend it over any other competitor in this price range.
