The guitar has an overall basic quality. Sound-wise, it's not completely bad, and for a beginner it could be perfectly OK if it worked. The tuning mechanics are very poor quality, can't be tightened and doesn't hold the tuning. After 5 minutes (really right after 5 minutes!) of playing it needs to be fine tuned. Tightening doesn't help either. The mechanics just don't hold it. Judging by other reviews this is not a problem with this one piece. It was meant to be a gift for my son - a beginner. It's hard for a beginner to handle this one. I am very disappointed.
