The Nowsonic Chorus was especially designed for recording applications. The large diaphragm condenser mic features a gold plated dual diaphragm with a 34mm diameter.The polar pattern is cardioid. Thanks to a transformer-free circuitry and a variable Pad, Chorus can handle a peak level of 145dB without clipping. Therefore, the mic is also suited for vocal recordings as well as for capturing guitar amplifiers or even for orchestral recordings. Chorus features a switchable high pass filter (-6dB/octave at 160Hz) for reducing low frequency noise.
