Memoriam is a death metal band from Birmingham, England, founded in 2016 by Karl Willetts, formerly of Bolt Thrower. The group includes guitarist Scott Fairfax, bassist Frank Healy, and drummer Spike T Smith, who joined after original drummer Andy Whale left in 2020. Memoriam was formed as a tribute to late Bolt Thrower drummer Martin Kearns. Their music is known for its powerful, old school death metal sound, and the band has released five studio albums, with "For the Fallen" and "The Silent Vigil" charting in Germany. Their latest album, "Rise to Power," was released in February 2023. Initially signed to Nuclear Blast, they now work with Reaper Entertainment. Memoriam released their first narrative and performance-based video for "All is Lost" in late 2022 and are currently working on new material.
