Heavy hammered 18” crash cymbal from Byzance Brilliant series that has a darker sound than the original series. It is due to a finishing process that limits the high end as the cymbal is buffed to its brilliant look: Brilliant series cymbals are also made of B20 bronze (80% copper, 20% tin), but polished up to six times to a high gloss finish. This heavier model provides a mix of explosive power and tone for cutting projection and its sound is loud and direct with a clarified response. It has medium sustain and volume and the overall combination of dark tonality and warm spread makes it a great choice for everything from funk and fusion to rock.
