I became acquainted with the company HECO in September 1979 by purchasing a 3-band speaker system kit (2 pieces). They played excellently, even so, I sometimes regretted that I did not buy a model 2 steps higher with a larger bass speaker. In 2005, a friend working in a speaker shop recommended the HECO VITAS 700 with 2x6.5" bass speakers with a frequency range of 22 - 35,000 Hz. Again, great satisfaction. At the beginning of the year, I accidentally "misplaced" the HECO AURORA 1000 with 2x8" bass speakers. The specified frequency range was also from 22 Hz. For several months, I hesitated whether it was worth investing in an upgrade, whether there would be a noticeable difference in the emission of low frequencies. Finally, taking advantage of the event, I went for it. It paid off. I got a loudspeaker with an objectively better sound at low and medium frequencies. The sound is stronger and cleaner at the same time. In my opinion, I got a lot of great music for relatively little money. Pink Floyd, Queen, Leona, Wiener Philharmoniker sound particularly good, even the old Greenhorns from the 60s and 70s from Panton's recordings surprised me. But ABBA was disappointing, without dynamics and without bass. In conclusion, I have to fully agree with the evaluation of Lite-magazine 09/18 ... "is a real bargain. Nowhere you'll get more value for your money!"
