Guitar care products are intended for routine cleaning of the instrument finish, strings, and metal or tuning parts. A product is not automatically suitable for every finish and material. Check its stated use and the manufacturer’s instructions before applying it.

Choose a body and neck cleaner for the relevant finish, and use only a suitable product on strings or metal parts. Apply a small amount to an appropriate cloth and keep liquid away from electronics and joints.

Light, regular maintenance is usually more practical than occasional intensive cleaning. If the finish is uncertain, test the product on an inconspicuous area first.
