All-solid wood electro-acoustic guitar from Masterbilt Collection series that combines traditional construction methods and historic features with premium all solid tone woods to bring a new "vintage" instrument with deep rich lows, shimmering highs and a balanced mid-range. The original Epiphone Masterbilts were first released in June 1931 and made a big impression on musicians from all styles of music. Back and sides of the instrument are made of solid mahogany and combined with solid Sitka spruce top. One-piece (plus heel) mahogany neck with Slim Taper “D” profile features a glued-in, dove-tail joint with hide glue and an adjustable truss rod. 14”-radiused fingerboard is made of rosewood with pearloid Split-Diamond inlays and features 20 medium frets. Scale length is 647.7. mm, bone nut width is 47.672 mm. Instrument further features a 6-ply body, 1-ply neck and 3-ply headstock binding, a rosewood bridge with bone saddle, nickel hardware, Grover Sta-Tite machine heads with 18:1 ratio and D’Addario strings (gauges: .012, .016, .025, .034, .041, .053). Vintage Sunburst colour design.
