Doves are an English indie rock band from Wilmslow, Cheshire, formed in 1998. The group features Jimi Goodwin on vocals and bass, with twin brothers Jez and Andy Williams on guitar and drums. Renowned for their atmospheric sound, Doves have released six albums from 2000 to 2025, with three reaching number one in the UK. After a hiatus starting in 2010, the members pursued separate projects before reuniting in 2019 for a celebrated comeback. Their recent work includes the album The Universal Want in 2020 and their sixth album Constellations for the Lonely, released in 2025.
