HEOS Drive HS2 is a unique 4-zone complete 8-channel home audio distribution system with Class D amplifiers, all on a single 2RU chassis that provides both Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital + decoding, with stereo mixing.

Rated power of 60 watts per channel to each of 8 channels (20Hz ~ 20kHz, 0.05% THD, 8 ohms, all channels excited), 1 or 2 pairs of stereo amplifiers can be bridged to achieve a single channel power of 130 W, while the HEOS Drive HS2 has by supporting a low impedance load (4 Ohms).

Each zone has a stereo pair of preamp outputs, and each zone can be configured for stereo or mono output. The switch matrix system is equipped with 2 optical digital inputs, 2 coaxial digital inputs and 4 analog stereo inputs, each of which can be assigned to any zone, and each zone is equipped with a dedicated USB port for connecting an external USB drive

The HEOS Drive HS2 is equipped to work with virtually any combination of speaker configurations, DSP function with high-pass and low-pass filters - allowing you to set any output to full range, subwoofer or satellite speaker mode with adjustable crossover frequencies.

The speaker outputs are equipped with 4-way output ports that are compatible with banana terminals and have four 12V trigger outputs. The chassis is equipped with a silent cooling fan for long-term stability and operational reliability.
