I bought them for Focal Elear, the original cushions were worn out, although I took great care of them. The most important thing about the Dekoni: the Elear retains its dynamic, slightly "singing close to my ear" intimate character, which I prefer for studio recordings. I barely had to change the EQ settings. The cushions have a delicate leather scent, with a slightly harder sponge than the original cushions. Still comfortable to wear. I think it's a very expensive product, for the price of one and a half pairs of ear cushions I can easily get excellent closed-back studio monitors (e.g. Sony MDR-7506 or Audio-Technica ATH-M50x). This hefty pricing brings me back to the sane world, where I never buy headphones more expensive than the price of the Sennheiser HD-650 (for which I get reasonably priced spare parts)...
