I bought these earmuffs to isolate ambient noise, I'm happy with them. Before I bought these Dekoni earmuffs, I bought some ordinary ones I found on the net, they were all made of pu leather and I thought they were terribly loud, so I bought these and I think the change in sound compared to the pu leather ones is minimal or maybe none. As a material, Dekoni earmuffs are probably great, but you should know that when you buy them, in my case for dt990 250ohm, the sound is different compared to the original velour earmuffs. It's as if the highs have disappeared.
