The Behringer B1031A is an active studio nearfield monitor for maximum faithful sound reproduction. Behringer B1031A is the result of three years of research and testing of new technologies. This model is equipped with an 8" woofer with a Kevlar membrane, which results in the reproduction of even the lowest frequencies and all the details in the bass bands that most speakers mask. Thanks to the Kevlar membrane, the B1031A does not suffer from another ailment of monitors with larger speakers, which is the crowding of the center band. and deterioration of the overall audio fidelity.

The amplifier of the B1031A model is a bi-amp type and operates in class AB, as is customary for studio monitors. What is not usual is a sophisticated active crossover with phase correction and sufficient power reserve - B1031A delivers 100W (70W RMS) to the bass drivers and 50W (33W RMS) to the treble. Analytical listening does not only depend on the monitors, but also on the acoustic environment, which is why the B31031A is equipped with corrective elements for treble and bass frequencies, thanks to which the monitors can be placed even near walls or corners.

In addition to correction elements, on the back we also find inputs in the form of balanced XLR, ¼ "Jack connectors and, somewhat unconventionally, RCA (cinch) connectors. However, these also allow connection with consumer electronics or some USB sound cards, such as the Behringer UCA222. Input sensitivity can be adjusted in the range of -6 to +6 dB.
