Developed in collaboration with Danish manufacturer Gyraf Audio, Gyratec IX by Antelope Audio is a dual tube microphone preamplifier plugin. It faithfully recreates a simple yet powerful hardware unit featuring two channels of all-tube, high-gain, transformer-balanced microphone preamplification, adding flawless analogue warmth to any sound source.

All-Tube Preamplification

Gyratec IX features a variable-gain input tube with an SRPP output stage, delivering rich harmonic content and authentic tube character. Users can keep gain at minimum for clean, transparent amplification, or push it higher to introduce musical tube saturation and colour.

Versatile Sound Enhancement

Beyond microphone sources, Gyratec IX proves especially effective at warming up keyboards, DI instruments, and any audio that benefits from the depth and richness of tube processing. Controls include input and output level switches, a high-pass filter, and a phase reverse switch.

Gyraf Audio Collaboration

This plugin brings boutique hardware character to the digital domain through a close partnership with Gyraf Audio. Available in AAX, VST3, and AU formats for macOS and Windows.
