Alkaline Trio is an American punk rock band from Chicago, currently consisting of Matt Skiba on guitar and vocals, Dan Andriano on bass and vocals, and Atom Willard on drums. Formed in 1996, the band first gained attention with their debut album Goddamnit in 1998. With a distinct blend of dark lyrical themes and energetic punk sound, Alkaline Trio rose to prominence with albums like From Here to Infirmary and Good Mourning. Known for hits such as Stupid Kid and Private Eye, they have consistently evolved their style, experimenting with broader rock influences on albums like Crimson and Agony and Irony. Celebrating their roots with This Addiction in 2010, the band has remained influential in the punk scene for over two decades. Their tenth album, Blood Hair and Eyeballs, was released in 2024, marking a new chapter with Willard on drums.
