AHI is a Canadian singer-songwriter known for his soulful voice and heartfelt songwriting. Hailing from Brampton, Ontario and based in Toronto, he has earned two Juno Award nominations for Contemporary Roots Album of the Year, for his albums In Our Time and Prospect. After releasing his debut album We Made It Through the Wreckage in 2016, AHI gained recognition by winning the Canadian Songwriting Competition in the folk category and the Stingray Rising Star Award. His music blends folk, roots, and indie influences, and his later works, released through Thirty Tigers, have received both national acclaim and a longlisting for the Polaris Music Prize.
