Absu is a black and thrash metal band from Dallas, Texas. Emerging with a death metal style in their early work, they later became known for their unique blend of thrash and black metal. Their lyrics draw on esoteric themes, exploring Celtic, Sumerian, and Mesopotamian mythology, as well as alchemy, numerology, and the occult.
