Advanced Stereo Imaging and Mono-to-Stereo Upmixing

WIDE widens the stereo image of existing material and turns mono sources into stereo. Instead of traditional methods, it uses Zynaptiq's patented sample-accurate spectral processing together with advanced resynthesis and feature extraction, and the result can be kept 100% mono-compatible.

What Makes It Different

The WIDE algorithms use no M/S widening, no modulation or pitch effects and no different EQ per channel, so the results are virtually free of the limitations and artifacts usually associated with widening processors. Four algorithms are available, three stereo-to-stereo and one mono-to-stereo, along with Zynaptiq's frequency-dependent operation via the BIAS/hover menu and a broadband or frequency-dependent fold-down to mono.
