Yamaha NY64-D PCI Audio Interface
The Yamaha NY64-D is a Dante network expansion card designed for installation in Yamaha TF-series digital mixing consoles — the TF-1, TF-3, and TF-RACK. Once fitted, it adds 64 Dante inputs and 64 Dante outputs over a standard Ethernet connection, transmitting uncompressed 48 kHz / 24-bit audio across up to 128 simultaneous channels.
Network Capacity and Audio Quality
The NY64-D carries 64 audio channels in each direction at 48 kHz with full 24-bit resolution, without any compression or quality reduction. This enables the TF-series console to connect to Yamaha stage boxes such as the TIO1608-D2, as well as any third-party Dante-compatible devices sharing the same network infrastructure.
Installation and System Integration
The card installs into the dedicated expansion slot of compatible TF-series consoles, requiring no additional drivers beyond the standard Dante Controller application for network routing configuration. Multiple NY64-D-equipped consoles can share the same Dante network, enabling complex distributed audio systems across multiple rooms or stage areas without additional hardware.
