XLN Audio XO Expansion: Italo Disco (Digital product)

Italo Disco Drum Expansion for XO Producers

The XO Expansion: Italo Disco is a genre-focused add-on for XLN Audio's XO drum production plugin, delivering the romance and unmistakable character of classic Italo Disco. Inside, 75 fully editable presets and 212 handcrafted samples capture the retro-futuristic feel of the genre's fun-loving European cousin. Mix-ready presets let producers drop a groove into their project and start moving immediately, while the curated one-shot library opens up endless beat-building possibilities. The expansion requires XLN Audio XO and runs inside its plug-in or standalone version.

What makes this expansion stand out

Each preset is fully editable inside XO's sequencer, so the included patterns are starting points rather than fixed loops. The XO engine can swap to similar neighboring sounds from the curated sample library with a single click, generating infinite beat variations without losing the genre's character.

Who should pick up the Italo Disco expansion

This expansion is the right choice for producers and beatmakers who want authentic Italo Disco flavor without spending hours hunting for samples. It suits anyone working in synth-pop, retro-futuristic electronic, or 80s-inspired dance music who needs ready-made grooves and a curated one-shot palette to draw from. Beginners benefit from the mix-ready presets, while more experienced producers can dive into the editable sequences and tweak every detail inside XO.
