Trumpet Stands

Trumpet stands hold your instrument securely when you put it down during a rehearsal, at a concert or at home. On this page, you can find stands, pegs and holders for trumpet, flugelhorn, cornet and bass trumpet from König & Meyer and Hercules. A small folding stand fits inside the bell once folded, a peg can be added to a multi-instrument stand, and a holder clamps onto a music stand. Trumpet stands: which type should you choose?

• Folding stand that fits inside the bell – a cone with five legs that you fold up and place inside the bell to carry in the case with your trumpet. This is how König & Meyer 15213 and Hercules TravLite DS410B work, along with König & Meyer 15240 for flugelhorn.
• Stand with a detachable peg – Hercules DS510BB holds both trumpet and cornet, and you can detach the peg from the base when transporting the stand.
• Peg for a multi-instrument stand – a peg without its own base that you add to a stand you already have: König & Meyer 15214 for trumpet and 15244 for flugelhorn with an M5 thread, Hercules DS501B for trumpet and cornet, and DS503B for flugelhorn or soprano saxophone. The König & Meyer 15281 adapter, together with the 14301 holder, connects the pegs to König & Meyer 14300 and 14320 saxophone stands.
• Holder for a music stand – clamp König & Meyer 157 onto a music stand shaft up to 30 mm in diameter to keep your trumpet right next to your sheet music.

Do you need a stand for flugelhorn, cornet or bass trumpet?

For a flugelhorn, choose a stand or peg designed specifically for it, such as König & Meyer 15240 or 15244. Hercules DS510BB and DS501B hold a cornet, and the manufacturer lists both as suitable for trumpet and cornet. König & Meyer 15239 is designed for bass trumpet and bass flugelhorn, with a support adjustable from 480 to 700 mm.

How can you keep your mutes within reach while playing?

If you change mutes during a piece, a mute holder clamped to a stand helps keep them close at hand. Hercules HA-100 holds up to four mutes for trumpet, cornet, trombone and French horn. König & Meyer 15910 holds three mutes and clamps onto shafts from 7 to 30 mm in diameter.
