Surprise one: the picture in the shop shows a Defender 5H, at home after unpacking the box, a Defender 5H MOD is staring at me with beautiful cream chicken head volume and bass response knobs, I didn't even hope they would send me one like this, complete satisfaction. Surprise two: the sound is incredible, clean, deep, massive (closed box 1x12, Repro Vintage 30-8 Ohm), very loud. I have another 5W tube at home, but this one beats it. When you add boxes to it and make a harder sound, play, add reverb and play again, then turn off the effects and you find that the Zosik itself plays incredibly well even with Chinese tubes, there is no reason to change them right away. You have to hear it with your own ears. Great for the price, I'm glad I bought it.
