The SilentPower iPower X 5V is an ultra-low noise DC adapter built to replace the cheap switching wall-warts that come bundled with hi-fi equipment. Active Noise Cancellation II drops the supply's noise floor to roughly 1 µV — about 20× quieter than a typical SMPS adapter — so DACs, streamers, phono stages, routers and LED studio lights receive a noticeably steadier current. The 5V/3A (15W) output pairs with a universal 100–240VAC input and ships with five interchangeable DC barrel tips, USB-C and Micro-USB plugs, plus a reverse-polarity adapter for centre-pin-negative devices.
