Guitar Necks

A guitar neck must match the construction of the specific instrument; a similar appearance does not guarantee compatible mounting. Before choosing one, check the scale length, width and shape of the heel, number of frets and position of the mounting holes. Also verify the nut width and the type of tuning machines you plan to use.

Compatibility before installation

• Compare the technical drawing or dimensions with the original neck.
• Check the fretboard radius, neck profile and truss rod access against your playing and maintenance needs.
• After replacement, expect to adjust the string height, neck relief and intonation.
