D'Addario NYS0115 Single Guitar String

D'Addario NYS0115 Single Electric Guitar String

The NYS0115 is a single .0115" gauge string designed for electric guitar players who need to replace one worn or broken string without buying an entire new set. Made from nickel plated steel with a coated finish, this individual string offers a targeted solution for string replacement. At .0115" gauge, it corresponds to the G string position in a standard electric guitar string set, making it a common replacement for players whose G string wears out faster than the others. The coated surface treatment helps protect the string from corrosion caused by sweat, humidity, and frequent contact with the frets.

Who Is This String For?

This single string is the right choice for electric guitar players who need a replacement at .0115" gauge. It's ideal for those whose G string has broken or lost its brightness before the rest of the set, allowing them to replace just one string instead of the entire set. The coated finish makes it well-suited for players with acidic sweat or those who play frequently and want longer-lasting strings. Both gigging musicians and home players will appreciate the convenience of buying exactly the string they need.
