Cases for Electric Guitars
An electric guitar case provides rigid protection during frequent transport and while the instrument is stored. A shaped case holds a particular guitar type more securely, whereas a universal case may fit several instruments of a similar size. Before ordering, compare the internal length, body width and headstock clearance with the dimensions of your guitar.
What matters in a guitar case
- Instrument support: soft lining and a neck rest help limit movement inside the case.
- Fastenings: check the number of latches and any lock according to how you travel.
- Weight and handle: stronger protection is usually heavier, so consider how far you will carry it.
- Accessory compartment: accessories should have a separate space so they do not touch the finish or strings.
