Best Service Mystica Crossgrade (Digital product)

Mystica Crossgrade — Classical Female Choir Crossgrade for Cantus Owners

Mystica Crossgrade is the crossgrade edition of Best Service's Mystica vocal library for registered owners of Cantus. The library captures a classical chamber choir of eight female vocalists, the "Numen Ensemble," recorded dry at KBYO Recording Studios in Granada with Neumann microphones and Avalon preamps. Because the takes are left almost completely natural, composers can shape the sound with their own reverb and effects.

What Makes This Library Special

A built-in Phrase-Arranger lets users build custom vocal lines from 24 words, three articulations (staccato, fast, slow) and 120 short syllables. Five True Legato vowels (A, E, I, O, U) plus a separate "Mmmh" articulation keep the choir sounding smooth and connected. Twelve soundscapes and import/export of Phrase-Arranger patches between Mystica and Cantus round out the toolkit, making it easy to set up an instant mixed choir.

Who Is It For

The Mystica Crossgrade is the right choice for composers and producers who already own Cantus and want a matching female choir. It suits film, TV and game scorers, ambient and new-age musicians, and anyone writing sacred or liturgical music who needs a ready-to-play, expressive female vocal ensemble. Because it runs in the KONTAKT Player on macOS 10.14+ and Windows 10+, no full KONTAKT version is required — just download, register and start writing.
