Arrested Development is an American hip hop group formed in Atlanta in 1988 by Speech and Headliner. Known for their positive and Afrocentric approach, they offered an alternative to the gangsta rap of their era. The group’s roots trace back to the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, where Speech met Baba Oje, who later became a key member.
