An innovative product with controversial reviews. So what is it really like? First plus - compactness. Second plus - almost no noise, the only sound is made by the pedals. Third plus - the hi-hat pedal can be switched to the second kick. Fourth plus - MIDI connection with DAW. Fifth plus - Bluetooth connection with mobile phone. Sixth plus - 8 sound sets. First minus - practically all rides are actually bells. Second minus - open hi-hat and ride/bell are too noisy in my opinion. Third minus - no customization. And some more info. These air drums are very demanding in terms of playing technique. It's all about the directions and angles of the hits to trigger the right sound. It takes practice and strong discipline. It's easy to blame the product for being crappy, not registering position and needing to be calibrated to taste. No need. I can play an entire song without a single calibration (I play Iron Maiden songs, just to give you an idea). The minuses with the sounds can be easily eliminated by connecting to a DAW or an app like GarageBand, where the air drums will return the sounds of the selected drum set. That's great. I only recommend it to sufficiently patient and disciplined players. Those who expect "turn on and play" will probably be disappointed.
