Classic choice with somewhat peculiar flip-top feature for carrying Portaflex heads. Any concern that it could somehow impede the sound or function is unwarranted. Very well made speaker, and excellent value.

Bought it with the Ampeg PF-50T and I couldn't be more happy with any other configuration. Very precise low-end with optional twitter. If you are looking for a more vintage tone then this is a keeper
