Inspired by centuries of Japanese ceremonial tradition, the Shinobue "Douji" SNO-04 is a traditional Japanese flute in Bb major. The Bb key is widely used in Shinto music and matsuri festivals, giving this model an authentic role in Japanese folk and ceremonial performance.

Shinto and Festival Music

Alongside the B major SNO-03, the Bb tuning is one of the two keys most commonly associated with Shinto ceremonies and traditional Japanese festival music. The SNO-04 is the longer of the two festival-oriented Shinobue models.

Comfortable to Handle

The tone holes are arranged for natural and easy fingering, helping beginners develop correct technique. The ABS resin body can be rinsed with water after each session to maintain hygiene.

Dimensions and Accessories

At 45 cm in length and 72 g in weight, the SNO-04 is the longest and heaviest of the three Shinobue models. It comes with a cloth bag for storage and transport.
