The NT5 is a small-diaphragm RØDE cardioid condenser microphone, sometimes referred to as a "pencil microphone". Designed primarily for recording acoustic instruments, drums and live performances, this compact externally polarized microphone uses a 1/2 "capsule, an active J-FET impedance transducer with a bipolar output bin with a durable satin-nickel surface.
